The Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) can help you find a project partner and hold funding-specific webinars and events.
You can also get support from Enterprise Europe Network (EEN). They act on behalf of Innovate UK and will discuss the growth opportunities for your business and offer bespoke support services to help maximise your project and business potential. This service is only available to SMEs.
How do I apply for funding?
You can apply for funding by searching the innovation funding available on our website. You’ll need to register on our funding service to submit, track and manage your application. Please note, you must be a UK-based business or research organisation looking for funding to:
How long does the application process for funding usually take?
The timing for funding applications can vary. But usually, you will have between 4 and 12 weeks to submit your application (written application, presentation slides, and any other documentation specified for that particular competition). We’d encourage you to submit your application in plenty of time before the deadline to allow time for any uploading issues.
It will then take an average of 6-10 weeks to review your application, conduct interviews and make a final decision. You will then be notified if you will receive funding or not. Feel free to contact our support service if you have any further queries.
Do I have to be based in the UK in order to be eligible?
Yes. Innovate UK funding is open for UK-based businesses only.
